Remember the good old days when square dancing was an American institution? The Natural Resources
Club does. In this ad which ran in the Daily 15 years ago today, the NRC brought the country flavor of knee-
slappin', foot-stompin' and hand-clappin' good times to the uneducated, with a square dancing celebration at
the Union. For your paltry $1.25 cover charge (excellent price considering most shows today run S15-$20),
you could have experienced the live band feel of a Southern hoe-down. The NRC are no dummies, though.
Knowing that the dancing might not be incentive enough, they also provided "BEER." A drunken frolicking
good time for all.
