Arbor Veteran's Affairs Medical Center and
the Department of Neurology at the Univer-

participation in a study of brain metabolic
responses to heat stimulation. Brain
metabolism will be measured by the techni-
que of Positron Emission Tomography
(PET). Low level, radioactive water will be
injected intravenously while one arm is
stimulated with cold water for approximately
one minute at intensities slightly above pain
threshold. Financial compensation of
$100.00 is offered for participation in this
