The scenic village of Dixboro, Michigan -- located onl
Plymouth Road, just. north of US-23 - is .just
beckoning international jet set types like youruself. Visit
DixIboro's exciting historic (district. LEnjoy "line country
(lining" at Dixboro's quaint The Lord *Fox restau rant.
Peruse the "handcrafted furniture, gifts - and
collectables" at the Dixboro General S tore. An11(,
offering further proof that it's "everywhere you want to
be," you can even use your Visa card at the local
anltiqule shop.
Known worldl-over as "the town that got shafted b~y
Ypsilanti," locals say Dixboro never grew b~ecause the
railroad company chose the village's neighbor as a stop)
-- b~ecause the route dlid not run along the Huron River.
But that fateful (lecision by the railroad is resp~onsib~le
for the quaint, homey charm that Dixboro offers today.
Daytona may be warm, lbut Dixboro is cozy. When
spring break rolls around, take a break fromt the
