The Michigan Daily -- Rose Bawl Preview - December 10, 1992 - Page 9

'1-e eiev the existence of God ca-n neither be
proved nor disproved by logic or science. Yet Where is actually a good deal of
evidence for Whe reality of Glod. When we look at the majesty and complexity
of Whe galaxies, when we see the intricacy and design of the human body,
there must be some creator behind these things.
* And then there is the moral sense found in all cultures though taking different
forms of course. There is the hunger for God found in all the world's
religions, even in Whe face of suffet-rig, an admittedly serious problem. But
Whe problem of evil is common to all philosophies, and one does not escape it.
by being non-religious.
* The God of Jesus Christ does not use the coercive and the irrefutable; free
cooice is still involved. And to win our faith the God of Jesus Christ enters
into human history, to take on himself the consequences of evil, and redeems
Whe world.
* We, the Michigan Christian Faculty/Staff Fellowship, would encourage you
to investigate the evidence for God and to know him personailly. If you're
looking for answers, seek Him. If you need directions, ask us.
