Not boring, like "Beauty and the Beast," and even more fun than "The Little Mermaid." Disney's planning to buy Robin Williams an Oscar nomination for this one. Francis Ford Coppola's monstrous adaptation of Stoker's classic novel is a dazzling disaster. The buckets o' blood are cool, though. And the music (Annie Lennox has a song) is really good. But really, rent Werner Herzog's "Nosferatu" instead. At Showcase: 12, 1, 4, 5, 8, 9. OF MICE AND MEN Gary Sinise gives a terrific performance in this truly moving adaptation of the Steinbeck novel. Too bad John Malkovich is in it. At State: 2, 7, 9:15, 11:30. PASSENGER 57 Numbers seem to be very big in movie titles lately. This one's starring Wesley Snipes as some kind of cop in an action thriller. We hear this was a troubled set. Why bother? Why? Why ask why? (Sorry, quoting beer ads is so tempting.) At Briarwood: 10:15, 2:15, 7:30, 9:15, 11:15. At Showcase: 12:30, 2:35, 4:40, 7:15, 9:20, 11:20; late shows on Saturday, 10:05, 11:55. A RIVER RUNS THROUGH IT Robert Redford hits a home run with his third directorial effort, the only recent movie (well, other than "Howards End," "Aladdin," "Malcolm X" and "Husbands and Wives") that deserves the oft-misused adjective, "great." At Showcase: 1:25, 4:10, 7, 9:40, 12:05; at Briarwood: 10, 12:15, 2:35, 4:55, 7:20, 9:45, 11:55. SNEAKERS Big budget, cool cast (Redford, Poitier, McDonnell), dynamic director (Phil Alden Robinson).
