SILLY LITTLE GIRL
I was sure that it was merely the
Immature, emotional dependency of a child.
Years have passed: a period of happiness, stability,

And I was relieved that my contentment with life

Silly little girl.
I was completely wrong.

and I finally realized that what I had dismissed as
Childish dependency was actually
The real thing.

A SEARCH FOR PROGRESS
Spending your whole life in a trap
told how to behave and how to act
now you're older and about to snap
as being alone wasn't part of the pact
Caught in a world that is anew
and not really sure what to do
going bit by bit as you move
searching for no harm to come to you
But you're missing all of the fun
all of the things which can be done
so many pleasures under the sun
but you insist on remaining a nun

with crying tears in the rain
his actions were so inhumane
believe me, I understand the pain
It's time to rise and make a choice
let everyone hear your new voice
never again to become a toy
just the victim of someone's ploy

increase the odds of finding new romance

CLOUD GAMES
when they have nothing better
to do
clouds like to rain down
and watch the umbrellas shoot up
like instant mushrooms
clouds enjoy watching people scurry
under roofs
under bus shelters
under overhanging ledges
sometimes a whole wedding party
goes scrambling into a tent
the bride's train trailing behind her
along the ground
