Berenson, in an attempt to rekin- dle the scoring prowess of forwards Brian Wiseman and David Oliver, has moved the duo back to their original spots on the first line with senior Denny Felsner. Since Berenson first moved Wiseman and Oliver back to their line from last season with center Cam Stewart, the three have been virtually silent. Berenson's second line will match center Cam Stewart with ju- nior David Roberts and senior Ted Kramer. The move signals Beren- son's concern for two upperclass- men who have not produced at the same level that they did last season. "We're kind of back to where we were before the Chicago series," Berenson said. "I think some of our players are playing stronger now and that will give us four strong lines." Dan Stiver and Mike Helber will be led by Mark Ouimet on Michigan's third line. And with the improved play of Rick Willis and Mike Knuble, Berenson feels that the two forwards along with center Mike Stone "could give us a strong line." "I think we're finding now what we wanted to get at the beginning of the year," Berenson added. ADDING INSULT TO INJURY: Not only did the Michigan hockey team get swept this past weekend, but the CCHA Player-of-the-Week had a hand in it. Brian Holzinger from Parma, Ohio led Bowling Green past Michigan with four goals last weekend to grab the award. FELSNER STAYS FOCUSED: After last weekend's series with Bowling Green, Felsner is now sec- ond on Michigan's all-time scoring list. The senior from Mt. Clemens raised his career point total this weekend by three to 229 to boost him past Philadelphia Flyer Brad Jones who had 227 career points while at Michigan. Felsner is now only 18 points behind Michigan record-holder Dave Debol. GORDON OUT: Michigan goal- tender Chris Gordon missed prac- tice yesterday with an injured el- bow.
