Recycling Is The Law In Ann Arbor Ann Arbor's Comprehensive Recycling Ordinance marks its first anniversary this November. According to the ordinance, all single and two-family dwellings using curbside collection are re- quired to separate their recyclables from refuse as of July 1, 1991. Every multi-family unit man- ager/landlord in Ann Arbor is re- quired to file a Recycling Applica- tion by March 1, 1992 to provide the Opportunity to Recycle to their resi- dents. Failure to submit a Recycling Application can result in the certifi- cate of occupancy being revoked. For more information on the * curbside and multi-family recycling programs, see related articles in this issue of AnnArbor's Waste Watcher.
