He broke his own Michigan single-game record for completion percentage (minimum 20 attempts) with a 91 percent performance. During his 20-for-22 effort, Grbac threw for 195 yards with no interceptions, including a 25-yard touchdown pass to Desmond Howard on a fourth-and-one play. The previous record was 81 percent, set against the Fighting Irish in his first game as Michigan quarterback in 1989. BACKGROUND: Ranks third in Michigan history with 33 career touchdown passes ...
