Cajun Queen
Former schoolbus driver and
cajun chef Ida Guillory, also
known as Queen Ida, brings her
sweet sounds of Louisiana
zydeco to the Ark tonight And if
you really want more, read her
memoirs next month entitled
Cooking with Queen Ida.
Queen Ida returns to the Ark
once again tonight for two
shows, 7:30 and 10:00pm. Tickets
are $10.75 and are available at
Schoolkid's Records, Herb David
Guitar Studio, the Michigan
Union Ticket Office. All
remaining tickets will be
available before the show at the
door.

of coffee and a place to stay for the
night. Every attempt to retrieve the
keys to his uptown apartment is
thwarted however. He becomes en-
trapped in Scorsese's New York,
filled with hidden sandtraps and dan-
gers.
While the film runs only about
90 minutes, Scorsese's hypnotic
filmmaking will make you feel as
though you have experienced this
bad "dream" for yourself. And al-
though it might make anyone a bit
apprehensive about visiting New
York, experiencing the trip vicari-
ously through Paul is still a lot of
fun.
