Animator Don Bluth (A n
American Tale) presents his latest
film from his Hollywood Studios
about Charlie Barkin, a German
Shephard with Burt Reynold's
voice, who breaks out of a New
Orleans dog pound and gets
involved in a bunch of adventures
with his buddy, Itchy (Dom De

BACK TO THE FUTURE II
Michael J. Fox, Christopher
Lloyd, and Lea Thompson return in
the sequel of the 1985 smash. This
time McFly and Doc Brown travel
from 1985 to 2015 back to 1985
and finally to 1955 where they run
into the original film. Be warned
that this film ends on a cliffhanger
with the words "To Be Continued."

star in a father/son family drama

DRUGSTORE COWBOY
William Burroughs plays an old
junkie and Matt Dillon plays a
young junkie. This is a far better
bet for Burroughs disciples than his

THE FABULOUS BAKER
BOYS
Jeff and Beau Bridges star in a
story chronicling two cocktail-
lounge, piano-playing brothers
whose lives are disrupted when
Michelle Pfeiffer joins their failing
act and revitalizes their careers. At

HARLEM NIGHTS
Eddie Murphy and Richard Pryor
do their rendition of The Cotton
Club in this 1930s slick
extraveganza. This time, it's the
Club Sugar Ray, but there
promises to be the usual assortment
of gangsters, music, dancing, and

THE LITTLE MERMAID
It's Disney's 28th full length
animated feature, and their first
animated fairy tale since Cinderella
came out 30 years ago-and it's a

gem. Charming yarn about a lovely
mermaid who longs to be a human
so she marry a prince she has fallen
in love with. But first she must
deal with Ursela, the evil squid,
who has other plans. At Showcase:

LOOK WHO'S TALKING
Bruce Willis is a wise-crackin'
baby who presents the pre-natal
world from a different view. Cheers'

NATIONAL LAMPOON'S
CHRISTMAS VACATION
More holiday fun from the
Griswold's as Chevy and Beverly
return to the roles which enhanced
their careers so much. Not much of
a vacation, this year the Griswold's
are staying home where it's safer.

PRANCER
With a title like this, how
couldn't it be a Christmas movie?
Jessica Riggs, a 9-year old farm
girl, finds a wounded reindeer she
believes is Santa's. Apparently it
was out flying alone. So she sets
out to return it to St. Nick. I guess
we finally find out if Santa is real.

ROCKY HORROR PICTURE
SHOW
You've seen it a few dozen

times. You've been showered with
rice. You know all the lines and
scream them out with everyone
else. It's that old cult favorite,

SEA OF LOVE
Flash, dash, and the return of Al
Pacino. He's on the trail of a serial
murderer in New York. Also

SHIRLEY VALENTINE
The long awaited one-woman
Broadway production comes to the
big screen in the story of a
disillusioned middle aged woman

SHOCKER
Wes Craven's new horror film
features Horace, who has just been
sentenced to death in the electric
chair. Now he's really mad. At

STEEL MAGNOLIAS
The stories of six southern
women and their relationships are
told in the new, long-awaited
picture from director Herbert Ross.
The cast alone should cause a
healthy holiday harvest with the
likes of superstars Sally Field,
Dolly Parton, Shirley MacLaine,
Daryl Hannah, Olympia Dukakis,
Julia Roberts, and Sam Shepard. At

Film adaptation of the William
Golding novel which all of us had
to have read by now. A group of
schoolboys set free on an island
start a new life with catastrophic
and disturbing results. An
appropriate film to follow Animal
Farm.
