You've said, "I've never really been able to make up something, like a person or a love story." Is there re- ally enough in your life to always have something to write about? MCC: Yes, I think you find things over the course of your life - if I may sound obnoxious here - the details of which are not lost. You constantly look over your life; you examine your motives. You remem- ber people. You can write a song about a person and then years later write another song about the same person, about a different experience that you had.
