The Eastern Michigan Open,
which takes place this Saturday,
marks the beginning of the 1989-90
collegiate wrestling season. For
many coaches, these early tourna-
ments are opportunities to warm up
for the conference season.
Michigan coach Dale Bahr, how-
ever, does not subscribe to this point
of view. He believes that these

"I can see a change in (Cluff's)
demeanor this year. He's really in-
tense in practice. Feldkamp's got a
lot of talent. Lanny's the type of
guy who can wear you down. He
needs to work on being more

starters Salem Yaffi, Larry Gotcher,
Sam Amine, Justin Spewock, and
