Trump plays Griddes, too As Donald Trump wheels and deals his way to the top of the business world, he takes time out to play everyone's favorite game: t Griddes. Trump feels empty without winning the Griddes. He has contacted famous analysts in the likes of Jimmy "The Greek" Snyder, Mike Warren and Pete Axthlem. They have been meeting behind closed doors through the late hours of the night, doing their best to assure Mr. Trump the prize he has been seeking. Trump plans to use the fame he gets from winning Griddes to promote more fights to make himself look important. Can't get enough exposure with Mike Tyson, you know. AND HE MIGHT just get to do that, starting this weekend at UCLA, where he will make his first appearance at the Rose Bowl. Many think that this showing will not be his last in Pasadena. "He hasn't gotten a chance to put his arm to use yet," Howard said. "I think there is a lot more to come. If you stick around, he might be the best quarterback to come through here since (Jim) Harbaugh." For now though, he will be needed just to win one game. He almost did it against the number one team in the country. Can you imagine what he might doaagainst everyone else? Michigan players already expect him to show this this weekend. "He has to do what he did last week," Walker said. "In the situation he came into last week, we were down. He had to come in and get us up. Elvis did a hell of a job. Now he's got to keep his poise and come out ready to play." JOHNSON Continued from page 11 exposure that the game come with. "I'm sure it will build up, but I don't think the TV aspect will bother me at all, even though it is the first time," Bret said. This is only the beginning of many engagements for Johnson. Later this year, the Bruins will face the Washington Huskies, in a game that could determine the Pac-10 Rose Bowl representative, and later the crosstown war between UCLA and USC. That game will bring together Johnsonand Marinovich again. But this Saturday night will be the first major audition for Johnson to get that elusive attention. However, he still can appreciate the good fortune he has just playing for Bruins, with or without his just due. "I felt something special in the first game against Tennessee, and even last year when I could suit up for some of the home games," Bret said. "Wherever you go, you feel a sense of pride for your school. It is a big thrill to go out in front of a big crowd and perform well." Spoken like the leading player in this cast.
