'W Living Colour Cntinued from Page 5 Mick Jagger produced a cut on the album, and I asked Calhoun what ti was like to work with him. "Jagger was into our music, there was no superstar attitude. He was like a fifth member of the band." Calhoun mentioned how the group's album had just been taken over by Madonna. "Madonna's Madonna, you can't argue with that," he said. As to influences, the band listens to as much music as they possibly can from Anthrax, Robert Palmer and Shinehead, among others. They also especially like to listen to a lot of international music, but mainly they just listen to music- a lot of music and all kinds of it. For those of you lucky enough to get tickets for this Friday, hold on to your seats, because with Corey Glover's emotional singing, fused with Vernon Reid's burning guitar mayhem, and a rhythm section compromised of Calhoun on drums in 'I qw w and Muzz Skillings that will simply knock you out, you~ll get your money's worth and then some. Although the album may have taken a little while to gain some attention, Living Colour is on the edge of becoming a legendary group, and is very quickly gaining the momentum to get there. U Living Colour will be at the Michigan Theater tonight at 8 p.m. Tickets are $16.50.
