(all week--5:45, 7:45) DIRTY DANCING Awkward teenage girl (Jennifer Grey) falls for Patrick Swayze, a working-class dance instructor in 1960s Catskills resort. (F&S 12am) THE SICILIAN Michael Cimino, who has single-handedly made the phrase "Heaven's Gate" synonymous with "catastrophe," continues his comeback trail with this epic tale of Saiatore Giuliano (Christopher Lambert), the man who took on the united power of the Church, the State and the Mafia in his attempt to lead Sicily to secede from Italy. James Woods should have received the Best Actor Oscar for his portrayal of a sleezy reporter investigating a corrupt leadership in Cnetral America. LOVE ME TENDER (Robert Webb, 1956) 7:30 p.m. Nat. Sci. Elvis Presley finds time to slip in a few songs in the middle of this Civil War western. JAILHOUSE R 0 C K (Richard Thorpe, 1957) 9:30 p.m. Nat. Sci.., One that isn't too tough to figure out from the title: Elvis Presley plays a convict w h o becomes a rock star. VINT SATURDAY REAR WINDOW (Alfred Hitchcock, 1954) 9 p.m. MLB 4 Jimmy Stewart plays a photographer stuck home in his apartment at the mercy of his broken leg. He spends is time off peeking at his neighbors with fancy telefoto lenses. Grace Kelly was intoxicatingly beautiful as h is loving girlfriend who made sure that a week confined to bed and wheelchair would not be boring. THE ADVENTURES OF SHERLOCK HOLMES (Alfred Werker, 1939) 7:30 p.m. Mich. Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce star as the famous defenders of justice. This time they must protect the Crown Jewels. THE SEVEN PER-CENT SOLUTION (Herbert Ross, 1976) 9:15 p.m. Mich. Sigmund Freud meets Sherlock Holmes. Their freindship proves quite beneficial for both as Freud cures Holmes of a drug habbit (cocaine). Holmes repays the good doctor by catching a few bad guys. MORGAN (Karl Reisz, 1966) 7 p.m. MLB 3 David Warner is hilarious as mad English painter trying to win back the love from his ex-wife (Venessa Redgrave). BEDAZZLED '(Stanley Donen, 1967) 9 p.m. MLB 3 Dudley Moore, Peter Cook, and Raquel Welch star in the 1960's comedy based on the Faust tale. The English sense of humor often borders on the rediculous, but that is what seems to have brought Monte Python such appeal. FRITZ THE CAT (Ralph Bakshi, 1972) 7, 8:30, and 10 p.m. Nat. Sci. Very poor excuse for an X- rating, probably a very mild R by today's standards. This is the animated story of a cat who gets mixed up with the wrong crowd. I vinto 407 N.
