And there is; Kim Basinger, entranced into Mickey Rourke's sadistic world, tries to free herself from it. (F&S 11pm) NEAR DARK Erotic horror film about modern day vampires roaming the night highways for eternity. Great visual imagery by director Kathryn Bigelow, but who wants to look at pretty pictures when there's blood all over the screen?
