"I've been arguing for ten years now," he said with a half- smile. "It's time for a new generation to take over." I went downstairs then, to see what Steve was up to, to watch some TV - maybe sneak up on him and grab the remote control. There was no one in the recliner. He had gone home early to hang out with his girlfriend. I didn't even see him leave. He must have gotten a little bored down here. I sat down in the recliner and flicked on the TV. Upstairs, they were on their second cup of coffee. I'm not really all that fond of coffee. Maybe when I get home, I thought, Steve and I can play a little one-on-one. When we shoot around we pretend to be professionals. While one of us is shooting, he does his own play by play, like: "Bird, three t< ' c lil H h li: dr bx R S u] Sl Ir a2 u w b 0 Te.nveniern... .'"'
