opening of the Australian production
of the stage musical, Lennon-The
MusicalLegend The three surviving Beatles are
fighting to stop the commercialization, as op-
posed to the theatricalization, of their music.

brewery and EMI Records over a low-priced cas-
sette offer of 12 Beatles, songs advertised on
beer cans ... A lawsuit over a murder at a Roll-

has been settled with the family of the victim
receiving a $4.7 million settlement. The family
convincingly claimed that a lack of security
caused the stabbing death of their son. The bulk
of the money is to be paid by the concert pro-
moter. A similar stabbing death occurred earlier
this year at a British rock festival during a perfor-
mance by Queen. The victim, who had been
standing close to the stage, bled to death when

the new songwriting team on the album, two
