The Wolverines should suf-
fer little in the way of inten-
sity loss next year with the
likes of Glen Rice (left) and
Gary Grant returning.

T HE WOLVERINES' strength this
season has been in their senior
class. With five seniors on the roster,
including a trio of three-year starters,
Michigan's elder statesmen have
almost overshadowed the youth on
the squad.
That is not to say that the youth
cannot hold its own. In fact, next year
the underclassmen will be called upon
to do exactly that. With the entire
front line graduating, head coach Bill
Frieder will be looking for Glen Rice,
Mark Hughes, Steve Stoyko, and this
year's Michigan high school Mr.
Basketball, Terry Mills to fill the gap.
At guard, second team all-Big Ten
selection Gary Grant will again join
Antoine Joubert. Backing them up
m will be a host of talent including Gar-
de Thompson, Billy Butts, and next
z year's freshman Rumeal Robinson
o and Jack Kramer.
