Hulme, a School of Education senior,
says, "I personally love the rugged
look; big thick sweaters and 501's."
While Patty Rose doesn't express a
preference for any particular dress
style, she does offer some good
fashion-oriented advice: "<Don't look
slobbed out all the time." fo sum up
the opinions of the entire female
species, Claire Villeneuve, computer
engineering junior, said that in
general she'd like to see men dress
casually in something that's "not too
calculated." So, what you need to be is
sly. Get that "look" but don't let
anyone know you're trying.

With those general guidelines and a
little cash, you should have no
problem in creating that rugged out-
door buffalo plaid look or a slick Don
Johnson ensemble. You could even try
for that ever popular student look
which is best described by Joseph
Wissing, graduate student fashion
plate, as a look that's "functional and
looks nice." Then with your new
snappy outfits you can walk through
the Diag, or hell any of the world's
great fashion centers, on any given
sunny day knowing that all those
people that don't know you won't be
making you the focus of any fashion
related humor. Who knows, you may
even like your new clothes.
