He admits that financial success isn't the film's goal. The production team was motivated by the simple desire to see the screen play made into a movie, not to make a profit, he said. "OUT OF 256 movies produced last year, only 25 made a profit," he said, adding that there are plans to take the movie to the Cannes Film Festival in France. It's an unpretentious beginning. The office of Swan Productions, which was formed a year ago, con- sists of a few rooms in a converted house on North Main Street. The main room is messy and crowded by tables and a copier.
