Page B2 - The Michigan Daily - Thursday, September 5, 1985 Follow the lute's trail thro gh towni i r 'n P, y Winding through the streets of Ann Arbor, the kite first touches down on "The Rock, " a source of hours of spray- paint fun and a vast array of other pranks to the fratern ities and sororities lining the streets around it on Washtenaw A venue. The wind picks up, and the kite blows across town to the heart of the University. It lands on the Cube, located right behind the Fleming Administration Building. Other than its aesthetic beauty, the Cube 's usefulness is apparent when it acts as a stress-reducer for exam anxiety. This can be witnessed whenever a student drags a backpack up to the Cube, drops it to the ground, places both hands on a corner of the structure, and runs. The stress is reduced as the Cube spins on its axis. A source of this anxiety is just up the block at the Graduate Library, looming in front of the 'M"- that puts a hex on students who step on it before their first exams. Located in the center of the Diag, the Grad ho uses floors of books, and is a "home away from home" to many University students.
