t Deli

Zingerman 's
Sandwiches; ingredients piled high-
all types imaginable. Cheese, beef,
Heros, Subs, you name it, they got it!
All available for take-out, or eat-there.
Individual deli "material" also
available to take home to make your
own creations. What does it all
describe? It is Zingerman's
Delicatessen and they have a lot to be
proud of, because they have won prac-
tically unanimously the award for the
best deli in Ann Arbor. Zingerman's is a
favorite place for all to escape to and
obtain that deli delicacy which kills the
hunger and permits you to get back to
your work.
Best Oriental Food
Sze-Chuan West
Sze-Chuan West features cocktails,

dining, carryout, luncheon specials,
vegetarian and Chinese menus with
Sze-Chuan specialties. Our tally iden-
tified Middle Kingdom and China Gar-
den as other fine members of Ann Ar-
bor's Oriental food domain. Sze-Chuan
West however, takes the "crown" in
this kingdom according to our survey.
Best Breakfast Spot
Angelo's
Have you ever noticed the little
building on Catherine St. that has
people lined up outside of it before noon
on weekends? It's Angelo's, the break-
fast place. Famous for its raisin bread,
Angelo's has a hardcore, devout crowd
of followers, some of whom have made
it the choice restaurant for breakfast
eaters.

Best Decision
Tim McCormick
The, 6-11 center had a year of
eligibility remaining after last season
but, upon being rejected by the
graduate communication program,
chose to forego his fifth year and enter
the NBA draft. McCormick signed a
$700,000 with Seattle and is currently
starting at power forward for that club.
Worst Decision
Eric Turner
Turner also decided to pass up his
final year of eligibility, but the results
were not quite as pleasant. Turner,
who was once considered to be the
Wolverines best pro prospect had
neither the size nor the ability to make
it in the bigs. The Pistons cut him
during preseason, and he has been
playing for the Detroit Spirits of the
ContinentalBasketball Association
ever since.

Best Football Player
Bob Bergeron
In a year full of injuries and disap-
pointment, the non-scholarship
placekicker shined above his more
publicized teammates.
Best Basketball Player
Roy Tarpley

Best Hockey Player

Best Freshman
Gary Grant
Honorable mention honors to w
wrestler John Fisher.

Best Athlete
Dave Hall
Hall, a graduating senior, played
guard for the basketball team, quarter-
back for the football team and was a
decathlete in track and field. Though
he was not a star in any sport, give
credit where it's due. The Livonia
native is a tremendous athlete.
