Sixty civilians were reported dead in 4he fighting. An occupation force of some 500 rebels from the Farabundo Marti .rational Liberation Front held Berlin, 1 miles east of San Salvador, after cap- turing the city in two days of round-the- glpck fighting. Ford, along with other family mem- bers and friends of the four women, has just returned from El Salvador. He said evidence of higher-level involvement has been ignored by the Salvadoran government and the Reagan ad- ministration. ,* t .;. I s 'Dole confirmed for cabinet post ry.y a.
