The three game regular season is complete, and all the sporting world is now waiting on the edge of its seats to find out who will capture the coveted crowns. Beaver Patrol, that intramural juggernaut whose very name brings fear and loathing into the hearts of all IM athletes, is the Daily's pick to repeat as champion in the Independent division. The Bruisers, no slouches themselves, will provide the main com- petition forrthe Patrol when playoffs begin tomorrow. THE FRATERNITY playoffs should be a wild affair. Sigma Alpha Epsilon, fresh from a scintillating Mud Bowl vic- tory last weekend, receive a prohititive nod here. Phi Delta Theta, vanquished in the mire last week by SAE, pose a big IM Roundup begin for their playoff opponents. The Co-Rec championship will be ex- tremely interesting. Hit n' Run disposed of perennial powerhouse Nit- wits earlier this season in a closely con- tested match. This victory, along with Hit n' Run's two other wins establishes it as the pre-playoff favorite. The Buc- caneers also went undefeated in their opening three contests and will provide major competition for the favorites. Tomorrow marks the beginning of the playoffs. these crucial games will show the intramural community just who are the kings and queens of touch football. Stay tuned to the Daily for all the results - right up to the crowning of the 1982 champions. threat to their conquerors, if the two. ever meet on dry land. Sigma Alpha Mu, Beta Theta Phi and Zeta Psi round out the Daily's top five in this division and all have an outside chance of cap- turing top honors. Hunt 'A' has been a terror all season to opposing squads. Right now, Hunt is competing in the National Women's Touch Football Championships in St. Louis, and should be able to re-energize in time to capture the Women's Cham- pionship. Get A Grip and TKO will be the major stumbling blocks in the way of the Hunt championship effort. After surviving a difficult regular season, highlighted by a 12-6 victory over our fifth-ranked team, Forcible Entry has been installed as the pre- playoff favorite in the Graduate/Faculty/Staff division. Phi Rho Lithopedians, undefeated throughout the regular campaign, will cause trouble for anyone that stands in its way. RUMSEY BLUE 'A' simply blasted through its schedule, looking virtually unstoppable. The two teams rated below the Blue Bunch each posted 3-0 records and ought to pose headaches Last week's IM scores Football Fraternity 'A' Sigma Alpha Epsilon 20, Acacia 0 Phi Delta Theta 24, Chi Psi 0 Sigma Alpha Mu 28, Delta Upsilon 8 Zeta Psi 0, Phi Alpha Kappa 0 (first downs) Beta Theta Pi12, Fiji 0 Alpha Delta Phi 16, Delta Chi 0 Theta Chi 28, Triangle 6 Phi Kappa Psi 8, Chi Phi 0 Theta Delta Chi 2, Sigma Phi Epsilon 0 Lambda Chi Alpha 12, Delta Tau Delta 0 G/F/S The Swill's 8, Patterson Dental 6 Dix 20, Cinci's 14 Zillas Gorillas 6, Penal Action 0 Wonkas 22, MI Hotshots 8 Forcible Entry 12, Legal Soul 6 Phi Rho Lithopedians 8, Boys in Business 6 Smith's Steelers 14, Hill St, Booze 0 9-0 Silks 6, Rib Tips 0 Giants 6, Ex Patriots 0 Minimum Contact 8, Jets 0 DSD 'B' 26, Maulers 12 Med Sci Sissies 20, Beta Blockers 0 Motley Crew 26, DSD 'A' 24 Independent Exterminators 6, Warriors 0 Adam's Alums 8, Cinderella Story 2 Tylenol Testers 32, Flaming As 0 Whips, chains & leather gang 24, Rough Riders 6 Cal Ripken J.R.'s 16, Bull shifters 8 A-Banana 8, The Victors 0 Outcasts 10, M-Heads 6 Leem Machine 0, Rednecks 0 (field position) Deadline 6, Navy Midshipmen 2 Bruisers 22, MMB 0 'Beaver Patrol 44, Ex-Hams 0 Hill St. Blues 30, Who Knows 14 Raiders 6, Baisez Vous 0 Destroy All Bruisers 20, Shanks 6 Phil Alshio and Her Peas Too 14, The MC's 0 The Me Off Bros. 8, Bursely Bomb Squad 0 Awesome 22, Fauvists 0 Cambridge Dogs 12, Sigma Phi 0 Cro Diddles 14, UR Mors 2 Campus Crusade 6, Univ.
