Last year's team MVP, Paul Fricker, returns to the Wolverine lineup after
a fine rookie campaign. In the 79-80 season he started all the WCIIA games
for the Wolverines and posted a 4.56 goals against average. The players in
the league also voted him the top rookie in the conference.

Junior alternate captain Steve Richmond follows through on a blazing slap
shot from the point in a game played last year. Richmond is one of six vet-
eran defensemen returning to this year's squad and is the team's leading
scorer after the first two weekends of action with nine points.
