Those were the words of caution which Michigan coach Bill Frieder relayed to reporters Monday night after his Wolverines throughly em- barrassed the Akron Zips, 98-69. The win was the rookie mentor's fourth consecutive triumph and reinforced his team's No. 16 UPI and No. 18 AP national ranking. It is hard for Maize-and-Blue fans not to be excited when their roun- dballers have shot out of the gate to a 4-0 beginning, throttling tough Kansas and 17-ranked Arkansas in the process. Except for a lethargic season-opening victory over Eastern Michigan, the Wolverines have totally dominated their opposition. They are passing with precision, shooting with efficiency and hustling up and down the court as -if their pants were on fire. Who wouldn't be excited about performances like these? HOWEVER, we shouldn't start making our reservatioins for the NCAA Final Four tournament in Philadelphia just yet. The fans only see Mick McGee gliding effortlessly past his defender for an easy bucket, or Thad Garner diving across the floor to chase a loose ball, or the Bodnar twins swishing the nets with shot after shot from the pe Naturally that's good to; there are some deeper conc the Wolverine braintrust if b is to be a serious contende Big Ten.
