Seventh-ranked Notre Dame met No. 16 Brigham Young in the nightcap of the double-header, with the winner facing Virginia tomorrow afternoon for a ber- th in the final four at Philadelphia next week.. VIRGINIA DESTROYED the Volunteers im- mediately after Tennessee had taken a 36-31 lead with 13:20 remaining off a steal and layup by Michael Brooks. The Michigan pitching trio of Julie Zyjewski,* Sandy Taylor, and Laura Reed held the Redskins to only one hit in the game, with Taylor garnering the victory and Reed the save.
