Although it is considered by many
that Michigan will be the cream of
the conference crop in 1981, its nine
opponents in the Big Ten cannot be
overlooked. In each of the past two
seasons, the conference has, sent
four of its representative to post-
season bowl games and, according
to insiders, this season should not be
any different.
With this in mind, Daily
Executive Sports Editors Buddy
Moorehouse and Drew Sharp
will take a look at the strengths and
weaknesses of the remaining con-
ference teams. The teams will be
placed in their predicted order of
finish.
2. Ohio State
As Ohio State coach Earle Bruce
hears the pre-season hoopla which
places Michigan in the top contender
spot for the national title, he cannot
help but reflect to last season:
- In 1980, the Buckeyes were also con-
sidered the odds-on favorite to take the
NCAA crown, but met some stumbling
blocks on the way to a disappointing 9-3
record.
"OF COURSE it was disappointing,"
said the third-year Buckeye mentor.

Sweater strategy by Peter B. for That Guy:
[ flexibility-to go with jeans or pants,
over a shirt or tied 'round your shoulders
El looks-the classic crewneck style, with-contrast stitching
at the shoulders, your own monogram sewn on for just $5
Q color-a splash of your favorites: green, oyster, beige,
gray, brown, navy, red, burgundy
Q value-the snugly knit acrylic /polyester, the low $16 price tag
If your sweaters don't meet all the above checkpoints, it's time
to invest in a PETER B. Sizes S to XL in your sweater connection,
That Guy, at hudson's.
L et Hudson's make it special with monogramming. It's
that very personal touch for men's, women's, children's and even
home fashions. You choose your favorite monogram style and
color at the time of purchase. Plan ahead for gift-giving occasions!
