exhibit work
at Art Fair
THE ART FAIR is not just
for young, struggling artists.
Participants range in age
from high school students to
members of Ann Arbor's sen-
ior citizen population, each
contributing in their own
way to the color, diversity,
and excitement of the event.
A group of residents who
paint together regularly at
the Lurie Terrace Apartment
complex on W. Huron will
have their own booth at this
year's fair. Shown here are

Alice Kellett, Ida Kemp, and
Claire Grew. Their booth on
South University will feature
paintings, hand-woven items,
and other crafts.

Shuttle bus
service
offered
Because parking space will
be scarce for visitors to this
summer's art fair, the Ann Ar-
bor _Transportation Authority
(AATA) will offer shuttle bus
service to the fair's three loca-
tions.
Visitors can leave their cars
at Briarwood, Arborland, Pio-
neer High School, or other lo-
cations and take an AATA bus
or Dial-A-Ride van to 4th and
William where the shuttle will
he waiting. The cost of the
service is 25 cents.
The shuttle will be in opera-
tion from 9:45 a.m. to 10:40
p.m. for the four-day event.
Buses will leave every half hour
from 4th and William, making
stops at the Main St., State St.,
and South University / East
University fair sites.
