Henry Jackson (D-Wash.), a Democratic presidential nomination con- tender, said yesterday that President Ford's policies on decontrolling oil and selling grain to the Soviet Union have the makings of a national disaster. Jackson also accused the President of turning his back on captive peo- ples of Eastern Europe and said the admin- istration was courting catastrophe by not working to ease the credit bind of New York City. Happenings... Shigemi Matsumoto, a young Japanese- American soprano, sings at 8:30 in Rackham Auditorium tonight as a replacement for the Judith Blegen program cancelled last Thurs- day. All tickets held for the Blegen concert will be honored and other seats are still avail- able.... Wounded Knee Support Group meets at 7:15 p.m. in MLB Lecture 1.
