Morris said Thursday that the Sooners have not done anything wrong and that both the Big Eight and NCAA had cleared them of the latest allegations. The NCAA source backed up Morris' statement. A story Thursday in the Oklahoma Journal, an Oklahoma City newspaper, said Big Eight representatives were expected to dis- cuss new action against the Sooners when the NCAA holds its Aug. 14-16 meeting in Chicago. The story said the contemplated new action stemmed from an investigation into the use of a car by two Sooner football players while on vacation during the winter break in Denver, Colorado.
