State LANSING - The State Lottery Bureau yesterday unveiled a new $5 Bicentennial lottery game that it hopes will give away nearly $4 million in prizes. Local The University's Conputing Center has received permission to replace its IBM 370 processing unit with a brand new mnachine even though the 370 has only been in service since January. Robert Bartels, director of the center, explain- ed yesterday that the new Andahl pro- cessor was expected to be much cheaper to operate than the IBM device. "It's nothing sudden," he said. "The plan was proposed a year ago. We installed the 370 during an interim period while we reviewed more carefully this new ma- chine." The Andahl unit is scheduled to go into service about July 15.
