Psalms 2:1 and Acts 4:25 The lte Sam Jones made the following comment concerning that heart of yours: "That heart In your bosom is a 'muffled drum' beating a march for you to the cemetery, and the Judgment of God Almighty!" Hebrews 9:7 tells man "It is appointed unto man once to die, but after this the judgment." "THE JUDGMENT!" Consider these judgments of God already announced over 2,500 years ago, written down and preserved, and found in the 3rd chapter of the Book of the Prophet EzekIel: "Son of man, I have made theea watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from Me. When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity: BUT HIS BLOOD, WILL I REQUIRE AT THINE HAND. Yet If thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die In his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. "Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness and commit Iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die In his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require atithine hand. Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he Is warned; ALSO THOU' HAST DELIVERED THY SOUL." (it occurs to offer the above as an apology to those who get offended with this scribe.) Consider these judgments of God already announcedl more than 2,500 years ago, written down, preserved through the centuries, and found in the 18th chapter of the Book of Prophet Ezekiel: "Behold, all souls are Mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is Mine: "THE SOUL THAT SINNETH, IT SHALL DIE'."But if aman bejust, anddothat which is lawful and right ... neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbor's wife, neither hath come near toa menstruous woman, AND HATH NOT OPPRESSED ANY, but hath restored to the debtor his pledge, hath given his breadto the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment; he that hath not given forth upon usury, neither hath taken any increase, that hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, HATH EXECUTED TRUE JUDGMENT BETWEEN MAN AND MAN, 'HATH WALKED IN MY STATUTES, AND HATH KEPT MY JUDGMENTS, TO DEAL TRULY:' HE IS JUST, HE SHALL SURELY LIVE, SAITH THE LORD GOD." (Job said: "My record is on high! So is mine, so Is yours! That record shows how much of my personal money, time, and effort go to ministering to the poor, the hungry, the needy, the naked - am of the opinion the near-naked of our day need to be ministered to with a strap or rod to teach them decency. It will be Interesting to learn how much of the personal funds and wealth of those who mouth so much about the "poverty program" go to the worthy needyl) Th, first recorded words of Christ after His baptism were: "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God" - Matthew and Luke 4:4. "THE JUDGMENT""The heart in youri'osom Isa'muffled drum' beating a march for you to the cemetery, and the judgment of God." Citizens, American Nurses Association and several other groups, held a news conference to announce that the Carter plan is unacceptable. The conference came only hours after Kennedy met with the President in a final effort to find agreement on what such an insurance plan should contain. THE ADMINISTRATION is scheduled to announce its national health insurance principles today after postponing the announcement a day to give Kennedy time to meet with Carter. Kennedy said national health in- surance has been his highest personal priority for nearly a decade and he and the others have been working with the administration for almost two years "in our effort to develop a common ap- proach." "We made a number of accom- modations and adjustments," the senator said. "We went a very long way, some thought too far" in trying to develop a plan that the coalition and the administration could support.
