The service was led by Chaplains An- ne Broyles and Tom Schomaker with a small congregation participating and discussing the ordeal. The holocaust commemoration day marks the 34th anniversary of the Jewish uprising in the Warsaw ghetto in 1944. POSTERS illustrating anti-semitism from around the world during the thir- ties hung on walls of the lounge where the service was held. Pictures of gaunt Jewish prisoners and heaps of dead piled on trucks were also displayed. The worshippers discussed their feelings about the entire episode, and ways future persecution of human beings might be prevented. Rabbi William Rudolph of Hillel, a Jewish student-oriented foundation, was pleased the memorial service-was held by the Christian group. Walk, don't drive It was too far to walk and a pick-up truck was sit- ting right there in the parking lot with the key in the ignition, so the prospect of driving home seemed very appealing to the would-be thief. But when a security guard noticed an unfamiliar face driving the truck away, he called police. The thief got off easily, however, with only a lecture from the men in blue and a scolding at home. The culprit was only eight years old. On the outside... Put your sunglasses away for a while. It will be cloudy and breezy with a chance of showers and a high in the mid-50s.
