50 years of great music.
At one time there were many groups like them but they are the
lost of the old time strino bands. However, by the excitement that
they convey on stoqe they are hardly ready to retire. Howard on
fiddle and Carl on mandolin take the leads on each song, and
Ted fills in with chords as exquisite as his smile. Howard's tech-
nique on fiddle is a joy to watch, bowing from the shoulder until
things really start to cook. Meanwhile Carl is punctuatinq each
phrase with a twist of his head. Vocals are shared by all three,
with nobody singing the blues like Carl Martin does.
