THE BRAWL allegedly began
after a conversation in the park-
ing lot of the reception hall be-
tween Postill and Baysinger
concerning p r o b l e m s in the
deputy's work at the jail was
interrupted by former Jail Ad-
ministrator FrankDonley.,When
Baysinger denied Donley's ac-
cusations that he had been caus-
ing trouble at the jail,ta scuffle
broke out between the three.
Baysinger's wife, Shirley, who
had joined the group by this
time was caught up in the dis-
turbance and eventually thrown
against a parked car.
The fight moved inside the re-
ception hall where Postill was
knocked to the ground and kick-
ed by Baysinger. Donley was
thrown down a flight of stairs

and kicked by a group of male
guests at the reception.
POSTILL returned to his car,
radioed the sheriff's department
for aid, and returned to the re-
ception hall carrying a pair of
handcuffs.
Postill, who testified in his
own behalf yesterday, said he
went behind Baysinger in an at-
tempt to arrest the deputy by

placing the handcuffs over the
man's shoulder and around his
wrists. It was at this point, 13a-
singer charged, that Postill had
attempted t1 choke him with
the cuffs.
