costly B1 bomber project said
President Carter gave them the
impression yesterday that he
will recommend at least limited
production of the dart-shaped
craft. .
However, other senators and
House members who met with
Carter to voice their opposi-
tion to the B1 said the Presi-
dent gave no hint of his ulti-
mate decision.
REPS. ROBERT DRINAN (D-
Mass.) and Ronald Dellums (D-
Calif.) told reporters they

favor of the B1. Drinan also

presumably would influence his
decision but Dellums said he
