DEAR READERS and ADVERTISERS,
Due to the wage and price freeze announced last Sunday by President
Nixon, certain price increases which had been scheduled to take effect
September 1, 1971 will be postponed until the ban is lifted.
Our local display advertising rates will not be raised. Except for
the publication schedule, our rate card for 1970-71 will govern until the
price freeze is lifted. At that time we will send out our new rote card. In the
meantime we will publish our publication schedule for 1971-72.
For the rest of the business staff and myself, thank you for your support
in the past. We look forward to serving you again in the fall when we renew
publication on September 9.
Sincerely,
JAMES STOREY
Business Manager
