not good if you keep late hours.
I stayed in a dorm hostel in Cop-
enhagen for two days and after
getting in at 5 a.m. was woken
at 7:30 a.m. with "lights on" and
a call for breakfast.
If you plan to go to Paris, by
all means, make your reserva-
tions in advance. That means

ing one night in Paris looking
for a room and spending the next
night sleeping on a train, head-
ed for a different destination.

have been made about the new
George Manupelli film, Cry Dr.
Chicago, and they probably
won't be, but that's Canby, Crist
and Morgenstern's problem.

Dr. Chicago has become a
local folk hero of gigantic pro-
portion, and he deserves h i s
j reputation. He is to the Amer-
ican Myth what Bizarro is to
Superman, a distortion that is
extremely comical but has un-
dertones of tragedy.
Alvin Chicago is all the things
the American hero is supopsed
to be. He says he has studied
and worked with Dr. Schweitz-
er, but he prides himself on
being a top card shark (which

girl they picked up in their
last adventure. She doesn't talk
either, except Romanian.
The film chronicles the con-
tinuing story of the quest f or

pensive sets when you have the
Rackham Building or the old
train station to work with. The
writing is a pure delight, with
parodies and put-ons coming
fast. The acting is excellent.
If you don't already k n o w
and love Dr. Chicago and crew,
this movie is the perfect op-
portunity to meet them; it
moves much faster than t h e
last episode, and is funnier.
No showings have been sched-
uled after Wednesday night's
premiere, but hopefully t h e y
