Detroit grand jury investigation of radicals set for tomorrow By MARK DILLEN Detroit's federal grand jury is scheduled to begin question- ing two local radicals tomorrow-, in what apparently has become a full-scale FBI investigation into the March 1 bombing of the U.S. Capitol and last month's anti-war activities in W a s h- ington D.C. Ken Kelley and Terry Taube, both once-active figures in the Ann Arbor radical community' and one-time members of the White Panther Party, were ser- ved last Wednesday with sub- poenas to appear before the grand jury, whose proceedings and intent have been kept sec- ret. Also believed to be subpoen- ed by the jury to answer ques- tions is Boston radical Colin Neiburger. Sources have-specu- lated there might be as many as six persons subpoenaed by the FBI for the questioning in De- troit. The series of jury Investiga- tions-was apparently touched off with the arrest of 19 year- old Leslie Bacon for testimony before the Seattle jury as the government's "prime witness" in connection with the Capitol blast. Kelley and Taube have asked for support in their hearing which begins at 9:00 a.m. at Detroit's Federal Building.
