grand jury.
Ktelley told newksm -n yesterday
he would 'not cooperate" with
the grand jury investigation.
"We're going to burn o ur
subpoenas outside the en u r t-
house, take the fifth amend-
ment and disrupt the proceed-
ings as much, as we can," he
said.
Ktelley added that he would
tell newsmen which questions
he was asked in the closed door
hearing,
Kelley and Taube's attorney.
Leonard Weinglass, last night
termed the subpoenas a "harass-1
nelent" so people who are -open
about their politics,
"It's not at all clear what they
are after." Weinglass said, "but
what is Clear is that the govern-
ment is misusing the grand jury
as an investigative arm of the
Federal -B u r e a u of Investiga-
-f-inn."
"It proves the FBI cannot
conclude its own investigations
and must rely on grand juries
to force information out of peo-
ple," he said.
