Vote for CARROLL McFADDEN
County Commiislooner, 14th District
The 14th District takes in the Model
Cities Area and the north central
section of Ann Arbor. The hies of
more of its residentorare offected by
the county government thon any
othser district in the county. The
reasons are because of aged people
on fixed incomes, youth and health
needs, ADC and welfare recipients
who reside there, the county jail
and other county services.
A gross injustice has been imposed
by the public on ADC and welfare
recipients by assuming they are
happy and content in receiving this
financial assistance. However, many
people on ADC receive training and
education, and they should be en-
couraged to do so without having
their welfare subsistance cut off.
Transportation and day care services
for their children should be made
available to help these people be-
come self sufficient.
I will work to implement such pro-
grams." 67F59
