Volunteers for the Public Interest Research Group in Michigan
have compiled a price survey on a standard market-basket of
goods at the following area stores:

Naked woman
goes beserk
BAKESFIELD, Calif. (UPI) -
When Highway 'Patrolman Jim
Napier s p o t t e d the 250-pound
naked woman prancing along the
roadway, he pulled over.
She jumped into his patrol car,
g r a b b e d his sunglasses and
crushed them in one hand. Then,
when he tried to question her, the
woman leaped from the vehicle
and fled into a nearby motel
parking lot.
Napier called for help aqd of-
ficers finally cornered the woman
in a motel room, convinced her
to dress and took her to the psy--
chiatric unit of a Bakersfield
hospital.
