Informants said President Nguyen Van Thieu appeared to be standing firm on his position. Gov- ernment sources said communications were flow- ing almost around the clock between Paris, Wash- ington and Saigon. HENRY KISSINGER'S deputy, William Sullivan, conferred in Paris with Nguyen Co Thach, top assistant Le Duc Tho of the North Vietnamese Politburo. Observers said it was obvious that the U.S. Em- bassy was trying to obtain concessions from Thieu. Kissinger and Tho were reported ready to conclude an understanding Saturday and issue a communi- que to be signed by the four signatories of e original Paris agreement Jan. 27. But Thieu ap- parently was unsatisfied with their proposals a" asked for modifications. Thieu is reported demanding a direct link be- tween establishment of a National Council af Na- tional Reconciliation and Concord and general elections, and that zones of control in South Viet- nam be only temporary for the stationing of troops of the opposing sides. TMIEU, who apparently feels he could win an election, wants a definite timetable for the ballet- ing before he agrees to establishment of the coun- cil. ,MICHIGAN 7 air-conditioned POWER CENTER WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE'S rollicking case of mistaken identity The Comedy of Errors GEORGE BERNARD SHAW'S amusing and poignant comedy Mrs. Warren's Profession TENNESSEE WILLIAMS' vivid American drama Cat On A Hol T in Roof NEWLEY and BRISCUSSE'S delightful musical The Roar of the Greasepaint, the Smell of the Crowd PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday July 17 July 18 July 19 July 20 July 21 Comedy Mrs. Warren's Comedy Mrs. Warren's Comedy July 24 July 25 July 26 Juls 27 July 28 Mrs. Warren's Comedy Mrs. Warren's Comedy Mrs. Warren's July 31 August 1 August 2 August 3 August 4 Cat Cut ( Cat Cat I Cat August 7 August 8 August 9 August 10 August i1 Greasepaint Greasepaint Greasepaint Greasepaint Greasepaint --Season Subscriptions- OFFER SAVINGS-PREFERRED LOCATIONS FOUR PLAY SERIES $10.50 (center) $7.50 (sides) SEASON SALE ONLY NOW THRU JULY 9 Season ticket soles at Power Center Box Office opens June 25 Individual performance soles begin July 9 --MAIL ORDER TODAY-- PLEASE PRINT: The long and short of it Two little kids - Nathalie and Norbert Hendrikse of the Nether- lands - watch as Skylab 3 is rolled out of the Vehicle Assembly Building at the Kennedy Space Center yesterday, It is scheduled for launch, July 27.
