Poge Eight THE SUMMER DAILY Nixon tells students 'God bless America From AP and UPI Dispatches ORLANDO, Fla. - In a speech laced with patriotic hyperbole P. esident Nixon yesterday told the graduating class of Florida Tech the American egovrnment has never been stronger either at home or abroad. He said the POW , iwho "cane back standing s raight, saluting the flag of the United States of America and saying 'od less Amer- ica'," proved that nothing is basically wrin with the country. TIE PRESIDENT'S SPEECHI - delivered at a college described ' by his aides as "solid middle America' "- did not specifically mention the Watergate scandal which has envelped his administration. Instead, he chose "What's right with America" as a theme, con ceding that the country has problems both at home and abroad, but assuring his polite audience that "When America has a problem we will solve it" because we have a genius that built America and made us the great nation that we are today." He spoke for about half an hour to an audience estimated at about 8,000. The president of the student body had earlier cornmented that Nixon couldn't have picked a campus on which he was more "be- loved."
