The as yet un- identified witness decided to plead guilty and is apparently ready to impicate oth- ers in the scandat. Several relial sourcesthave indicated the secret witness is Jeb Stuart Magrud- er, a key figure in Nixon's re-election - = campaign. Magruder was the first high level ad- ministration official to resign as a re- sult of the Watergate scandal and its many implications.
