By MITCH CANTOR Washtenaw County Coalition Against Apartheid (WCCAA) members earlier this week decided they will not press for an emergency appeal on a recent judgment by Circuit Court Judge Ross Campbell stating that the University may move its meetings to another location in order to bar demonstrators should there be a breach of the peace. WCCAA spokesman Ted Liu yester- day said the group opted not to seek a quick decision because it thought waiting would help it build up "a much more effective appeal. "IT WAS A question of assessing the chances of (winning) an emergency appeal," Liu added. He said the appeal going through the normal channels will likely go to court within a month. Liu said the WCCAA has been contac- ted by many groups and individuals who are interested in the case, which involves the first judicial interpretation of Michigan's Open Meetings Act.
