Student Government Council (SGC) member Jeff Lark, who attended the meet- ing with SGC Vice President Dave Mitchell and Student Organization Board Chairman Steve Kelly, said the student leaders en- joyed a productive meeting. THE GOVERNMENT leaders, all from four year universities, represent Students Associated for Lower Tuition (SALT). Discussion focused on a State House Bill which calls for a state-wide tax hike. "The question boils down to whether to accept a tuition hike or a tax hike," said Lark. Lark said SALT feels that students can't afford a tuition hike.
